Golden hour, then lights on
Some crews would rather start the night on the water than end the day there. A sunset session is the short format: about three hours, a late-afternoon departure, the coastline sliding past and the sun dropping into the Andaman Sea while the music builds. You step back onto land with the whole evening still ahead of you.
The two sailing catamarans run this slot. Neon Tide 50 takes up to 30 guests and Bassline 55 up to 40, both with wide decks and bow trampolines – the spot everybody wants when the sky turns orange. If your crew is a dozen or fewer, Velvet Night 55 follows the same coast on a 5-hour charter, with a shaded flybridge for the view and an air-conditioned saloon below.
Timing is the whole point, so we plan backwards from the sunset, which falls around 18:30 on most evenings of the year. A departure close to 16:00 leaves room for a swim before the light goes, and the return is usually near 19:00. The exact time and pier are confirmed in your booking.
The calmest months run from November to April, when sunsets are most dependable. In the south-west monsoon, from May to October, the sunset run still sails whenever the weather allows, and the captain may keep the course closer to shore.

Safe at sea, loud where it fits
House rules on every boat. Swimming happens at anchor, with the crew watching the water. Life jackets are on board for every guest. The captain decides the route on the day, and the music comes down to a respectful level inside national-park bays.
National-park fees are charged per person and paid on the day; they are not part of the boat price.
Questions before you board
