Four routes, two piers
Chalong Pier in the south serves Coral, Racha, Maiton and the sunset coast. Ao Po Grand Marina in the north-east is the base for Phang Nga Bay and the bigger yachts. The captain settles the final plan on the day.
Coral & Racha – the classic day party
Coral Island lies just off Phuket’s south coast, close to Chalong Pier, so the opening swim stop comes quickly. Banana Beach is the usual anchorage, with sand and shallow water for floats. Racha Yai, further south, is the stop for clear water and snorkelling over a sandy bottom.
A 5-hour charter normally covers Coral Island and Racha Yai; an 8-hour day can continue to Racha Noi. This is the route for most day parties and pool parties between November and April.

Maiton – a short hop, a quiet stop
Koh Maiton is a small island off Phuket’s south-east coast, within easy reach of Chalong Pier. It works as a relaxed extra stop on a day party: anchor, swim, put the floats out and let the music run at a gentle level.
The captain chooses the side of the island that is sheltered on the day, and may combine Maiton with Coral Island on a 5-hour charter.

Sunset, west coast – about three hours of gold
The sunset session follows Phuket’s west coast through the late afternoon, typically from around 16:00 to around 19:00, with the sun going down at roughly 18:30 on most evenings.
The two catamarans run it as a 3-hour slot; Velvet Night 55 sails the same coast on a 5-hour charter. It is the shortest format and sails all year whenever the weather allows.

Phang Nga Bay – the calm-water option
Phang Nga Bay is a sheltered sea north-east of Phuket, scattered with limestone towers. Boats for this route leave from Ao Po Grand Marina, and because the bay is protected from the open ocean, it stays a possibility through the monsoon months when the southern islands get rough.
A full 8-hour day can include sea caves by kayak, the famous rock at James Bond Island (Khao Phing Kan) and the lagoons of Koh Panak and Koh Hong. Much of the bay is national park: the music stays at a respectful level, and the park fee is paid per person on the day. Midnight Pulse 102, Afterglow 65 and Neon Tide 50 sail here.

Picking your date
November to April is the calm-sea season, with the clearest water and the most reliable sunsets – prime time for island hopping in the south. May to October belongs to the south-west monsoon, with more swell and passing showers; Phang Nga Bay is the sheltered fallback, and sunset sessions sail whenever the weather allows.
Thinking of Phi Phi? It is not one of our party routes. Note that Maya Bay there closes every year from 1 August to 30 September.
Questions before you board
Which pier do we leave from?
Chalong Pier for Coral, Racha, Maiton and the sunset coast; Ao Po Grand Marina for Phang Nga Bay. Your booking confirms the pier.
Who decides the route on the day?
The captain. Wind, swell and park rules can change the order of the stops or the anchorage, and safety always comes ahead of the plan.
Are park fees part of the price?
No. National-park fees are charged per person and paid on the day, separately from the boat price.
